The Hand Arthritis Program offered by Desert Hand Therapy is designed to increase awareness, promote health, and improve independence with daily activities. Through the utilization of manual therapy, exercise, splinting, and patient education, the program helps participants minimize arthritis symptoms while becoming more independent in their daily living. It also supports overall wellness.
Although the program is primarily intended for individuals with arthritis, those suffering from inflammatory or systemic disorders such as lupus or fibromyalgia may also benefit from participation. The program is covered by most insurances, and prior authorization is performed. A valid physician’s script is required for participation.
