Are you looking for a job in hand therapy that includes a mentorship program to help ensure you pass your CHT exam?
The Desert Hand and Physical Therapy mentorship program was created in 2016 and is offered as a 3-year program. This duration allows for the amount of experience needed in order to sit for the CHT exam. Therapists in the program will work closely with one of our experienced certified hand therapists in one of our many clinics across the valley. The mentee will get hands-on training and mentorship, learn the art of custom thermoplastic splinting, and outlines to provide continued learning on general patient care and specific treatment plans and outcomes. Mentees also participate in monthly therapist meetings with over 20 therapists.
Our Vision with the Mentorship Program
Chris Reynolds, Founder of Desert Hand and Physical Therapy, created the mentorship program with the future of patient care in mind. The mentorship program helps guarantee that the future care provided at Desert Hand and Physical Therapy is in the hands of only the most qualified certified hand therapists (CHTs).
Desert Hand and Physical Therapy Culture
We are a family at Desert Hand and Physical Therapy. We’re here to encourage, motivate, support, and challenge each other so we can provide the best care for patients. Always feel connected and supported by your coworkers and management.
