Meet Our Staff
Kelsey Wright, MOTR/L, CHT
Kelsey received her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Western Michigan University in 2015. Throughout her schooling, Kelsey gained OT experience in the settings of pediatrics, mental health, hand therapy, and geriatrics. She joined the Desert Hand & Physical Therapy team in March 2016 and is honored to work for such an amazing company! While working for DHPT, Kelsey has attended courses in kinesiology taping & is a certified OT with Touch Bionics Prosthetics including I-limb ultra, I-limb ultra-revolution, and I-limb digits. In addition to her clinical work, she is a member of American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), Arizona Occupational Therapy Association (ArizOTA), and American Society of Hand Therapy (ASHT). When not working with patients, Kelsey enjoys exploring the state of AZ, hiking, and playing the trumpet in a local orchestra.
Sabby Wade, OTD, OTR/L
Sabby graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Clinical Doctorate in Occupational Therapy degree in 2017 following earning a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services from Western Washington University in 2014. She began working in hand therapy within her first year after graduation. Sabby has been an active member of local organizations such as the state OT association, supporting legislative efforts. Sabby also volunteers with an organization that provides a health fair for adults who are homeless. Sabby has been involved in research projects exploring the role of OT in different settings and in language translation of subjective outcome measures used in hand therapy. Sabby enjoys trail running, cooking/baking, and spending time with her husband and her dog Chase.
Will Martin, MOTR/L
Born and raised in Vermont, he received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology at Carroll College in MT and his Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Mary in ND. Will enjoys all aspects of hand therapy but he most enjoys treating individuals with shoulder and elbow injuries as well as traumatic hand injuries. Will is currently working toward becoming a certified hand therapist (CHT). Outside of work Will enjoys spending time camping, playing sports, biking, hiking, kayaking, and spending time with his family, pets, and friends.
