Carly Simon

I graduated from Hofstra University in New York with my masters in Occupational Therapy. I decided to move to Arizona in 2020 where I finished up my graduate program in Scottsdale. During my program, I was placed in a 12 week fieldwork setting at an outpatient orthopedic setting. This is when I had decided to pursue a career in Hand Therapy. Prior to working with DHT, I worked in pediatrics where we focused on visual perceptual skills, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, and non-integrated reflexes. I love to use fun skills/activities I learned in pediatrics in the hand clinic when appropriate. I am passionate about Occupational Therapy as it focuses on many aspects of health including but not limited to physical health, mental health, and social health.

Wanda Barth-Lindblom, PT, CHT

Joined DHT Nov. 2006

Graduated from the University of Alberta, Canada with a Bachelors in Physical Education (BPE) in 1989 and a Bachelors of Science Physical Therapy, (BScPT) in 1991.
Worked in Canada as a physical therapist before moving to the great state of Arizona. Practiced full-body therapy until finding her love of hand therapy and obtained her CHT certification.
Free time is spent with family who is now all grown up, working on fitness goals, and the latest hobby of quilting. Always working on some type of artistic project outside of work. Fitness adventures include the gym, hiking, paddle boarding, and some kind of obstacle event.
The therapy motto is: If you feel nothing, we are doing nothing. All good things come to those who work for them
